About Charles R. Perry Mr. Perry started his career in the natural gas business by receiving a BS Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1951 at the University of Oklahoma, where he studied under the legendary gas experts, Professor Laurence Reid, Dr. John Campbell, and Dr. R. L. Huntington. After working in the design of gas processing equipment for 15 years, in 1967, he started his own company, Perry Gas Companies, Inc. This company was recognized worldwide for its expertise in gas treating, gas processing, and gas gathering and transmission. Perry Gas became one of the largest independent natural gas companies in the U. S., and the processing business was merged with Parker Drilling Company in 1980. Mr. Perry is a Registered Engineer in Texas (Lic. No. 14634) and is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He is currently the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Perry Management, Inc., and also Chairman of the Board and President of Perry Gas Processors, Inc.; both of which are located in Midland, Texas. He is also a director for E. L. Farmer Trucking Co., Odessa, Texas and Quantum Gas Services, Inc. in Houston, Texas.
